Question FICM Prices

Both me and my brother-in-law Big White have 6.0's and need to replace our fuel modules. We've looked around and most local dealers want a lot of money for their modules. Does anyone know where we can get one of these Modules for a little better price? Would appreciate your input.

There are a few places online that will rebuild FICMs and send it to you. It must be programmed to suit your truck. Google "FICM rebuilding" and check them out. Good luck!

Completely Stock.

I had a Detroit Diesel 8V92TA in a KW dump truck in 1980. That sucker would put out 425 hp but would never out pull a CAT.

Swamps Diesel will do repairs and tuning. Both are good options to have done at the same time.

Do you have to send any Info about your truck so they can tune their Module to your truck or do you take your Module off and send it to them?

Ask them. I am sure you will have to provide something, but I have no idea what.

The repairs/voltage mods are straight forward. I don't recall anything specific about the tuning they need to know. As posted get in touch with Swamps Diesel or Power Hungry Performance for the details.
