Default H+S Performance....

So, I received my H+S Mini Max Tuner with DPF Delete and S+B Intake yesterday. I had it all installed inside a couple of hours last night and all I can say is WOW!

When I sold the HD F250 with Eric's tunes and the motor work done, I was convinced I'd never have another diesel that would be as fun as that one. I was wrong! This truck is nowhere near as loud as the 6.0 was, but it pulls hard off the line all the way to redline!

Mileage on the lie-o-meter is off the chart, but I will have more realistic numbers next week as I'll be rolling about 1000 miles highway in 3 days.

My initial reaction however is this thing is absolutely STELLAR!

Well I have to say I LOVE the truck with the tunes, but I am unimpressed with the mileage unless I'm towing. I used to get 4-5 mpg towing 26k, and now I'm getting close to 10 with the H+S hand calculated.

For typical driving highway, town, etc I'd have to say I haven't seen an increase at all after a good solid 3 months with the tuner.

I have the XRT Pro and a dpf delete pipe. The power and mileage is amazing. Also the support and free tunes make it even better. I love mine

i am looking to buy myself an Black Max tuner and I have some questions.

1: is there any major difference between the mini and max besides the size?

2: is there any advantages to buying the KEM tunes with the H&S tuner?

3: who did you by the H&S unit from?

Thanks for the help.

Sorry it took me so long to respond.

1: is there any major difference between the mini and max besides the size?
Nope, not really that I can tell. I've installed both on customers' trucks now.

2: is there any advantages to buying the KEM tunes with the H&S tuner?
I like Mike's tunes. His 345 tune is gnarly for sure, but will eat up your trans in a hurry.....

3: who did you by the H&S unit from?
I buy direct from Casey at H+S.

Thanks for the help.
