Default The air dam under the front bumper

I was reading somewhere that the 2008 to 2010 had a change in the air dam under the front bumper. The 2010 had a longer one. It's was done to increase the mileage. Anyone know anything about it.

The longer air dam actually started in late 08. I can't remember if it was a Job 2 or Job 3 change. It was done to improve fuel mileage.

Completely Stock.

I had a Detroit Diesel 8V92TA in a KW dump truck in 1980. That sucker would put out 425 hp but would never out pull a CAT.

I'm assuming you have the shorter air dam and want the longer one? If you were closer, I'd trade you mine! I'm considering cutting mine down to the shorter version because it looks better!

I don't know actual figures, when the 6.4 first came out, customer's complained about the fuel mileage so much, the bigger air dam was Ford's answer.
