You can go directly to your ford dealer, and they will sell you a genuine ford warranty, good at any ford dealership. The great part is u can choose how much warranty you want. Just driveline, just engine, just electrical, etc..... I bought a extended warranty, full boat minus the usual stuff, tires brakes etc....I believe I paid like 1700, and it bought me warranty coverage to 2015 or 100K in mileage. It paid itself off already, had to have my turbos replaced. I bought it for the same reason, we pull a 40 Ft fifth wheel, and never know where were going to be either. Great investment. If you need exact figures let me know, I can find them for you.

that is what I did. i went to the Ford dealer is use for service and got a deal on an extended 3 year/ 150K mile warranty.
