Those of us who drive the 2011 250 SD with the new six speed trans finally have a solution for the transmission hesitation problems. Ford will have parts to replace the defective solenoid effective Sept. which should put this problem to rest. My transmission is as smooth as silk on the road, however, getting it to shift into drive or reverse could take as much as 10 seconds. On a couple of occasions I had to shift back into park and repeat the shift.

10 seconds is abit much delay but delighted to get info that Ford is resolving the issue for sure!
