Default My 7.3 Powetstroke doesn't want to start

It just cranks and cranks - I have to shoot it with ether even when it's hot. What could it be?

Mine ('01 7.3L) did the same thing back in March. I had a bad battery. Replaced both batteries and no more problem.

Bad CPS? That will kill a powerstroke. Such a small sensor that can ruin your day. Easy fix too. Dont buy aftermarket, get the one from ford or international. I keep one in my glove box just in case. And a 10mm wrench.

DON'T EVER use ether. There is heating elements before the motor on these trucks and you could blow up/melt parts in this motor and would be much more expensive than just replacing two batteries.

try that first.
