Sounds like you are in limp mode. Can be due to any number of things. Any lights? Gauges all 'normal?'
Regen?

Problem

No lights gauges all ok. Temps normal turbo sounds ok but like needs more fuel pressure (thats just a guess haven't test the pressure or now if the turbo is good no noise) there is no rumble when accelerating to get that steady pull of acceleration.

Problem All

Yes, the PDF is still installed but problem being deleted shortly, from my understanding.
The problem with the power loss: With cruise on toolin down the road cruise then shuts off (random after 10-30 miles and the motor goes into surge labor at 2250 rpm like a rev limiter. Loosing power the noticed that the cruise control does doesn't work any more gauges fine, tech fine and no engine lite? but found If I throw it into neutral turn the key off 5-10 seconds start back up runs normal again, cruise starts working until it does it again?

I had my truck just shut off driving down the road and one of the DPF sensor went bad. When it cooled down the truck would start up then shut down again. Dealer told me the truck should not have just shut down but go into limp mode. The guy working on my truck told me the early trucks did shut down when the DPF sensors go bad the newer trucks loss throttle control . I had no check engine light or anything. Cost me 300 buck to have it fixed.

Don't you just love all of this EPA mandated crap that is hung on our trucks like an overdecorated Christmas tree?
