Default truck died while driving

have a 1999 ford f350 with 7.3 about 156,000 on it and was driving on thurway and was going around curve and truck died.check fuel and getting to bowl,the wait to start light comes on then goes off when cranking the rpm only get 300 rpm and no oil pressure on gague check fuses and all good.thereis no smoke comming out exhaust when turning over was thinking cps unit?? any other help will try thank you john

There is another, current Post, addressing the same symptoms. Yours also sounds like a CPS going bad.

If you haven't replaced the OEM black one.. replace it with "Ford recall" Grey one..

change the cps unit and still no start

towed home got two month old battery with new post on them know battery mean lot of it

Hmmmm Yul need 2 GOOD batteries of the Same type. Or am I not understanding what you mean ?

Yes.. You should see 14.5+ volts, but not more than 15v, when the engine is Running. Engine off, you should see 13+ volts. If you've been cranking it.. you may need to Charge the batteries ?

battery are showing 14.7 volts and now have battery charger on now.no smoke comming out exh.
