Default I think I already know.

On the dust cover of the tranny i have small traces of trans fluid. The truck isnt shifting poorly and has about 102,000 miles on it. Is it a front seal like i think it is? Put in a couple of bottles of lucas transmission conditioner, that says it will stop most leaks as well. Is this one of those leaks? If it is a front seal the trans will need to pulled what else should be done while pulled and any idea what i should expect to pay?

thanks,
Banana

make sure the pan or cooling tubes aren't leaking first.most likely the front seal probably needs the bushing as well.while its apart replace the rear main seal.takes an extra ten minutes.
