I have replaced four(4) in 205k miles and remember where I was when each one failed..........twice with very little brakes or power steering!!!

On GMA this AM.. They said the Recall is only for [Some] Vans and F-450 & 550 trucks. Maybe incomplete information on their part.

I guess we'll see, as this unfolds in the next few days.

Yeah, I heard about it this morning on KGO-AM radio but only heard the tail end of the story.

last night on the news i heard 'em say from some year up to "2003"
(which would make sense since the 6.0s dont seem to have THAT
particular issue).

I saw it on Fox News' crawler earlier today. I read the MSN article about the 450's and 550's. Why wouldn't the 250's and 350's be included too?

I'll check Ford's website for more info.

My Oregon Edgeamacations tolls me: I just don't think there was 1.8 Million E Vans & 450/550 built, total. It's Gota include 250s & 350s. I's a 7.3 thing, not an E or F thing.

we'll see.

member mine went on me november of 2005, on my way to work, quit on me after leaving a traffic light, didnt know what happened, strongarmed it onto a side street and got it runnin again, turned around to head back to highway and it died again and that was it, had it towed to my shop and the stealership sent a cps down for 125 bucks, lol...that sucked
