Default P0683 Glow Plug fault

I have verified that my Glow Plug control module is okay, but that my PCM has an issue. Does anyone rebuild the Ford PCM? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Buying a new one doesn't look to appealing right now. Thanks.

YES there are several re-builders. Google "re-builders for Ford PCM" and you will see the list. Can't speak anything about any of them.

I added Guages, Satellite Radio,
Air Horns, and a coolant filter. Bilstein shocks. Battery Desulphater that really works.
Installed Jimmi Jammers.

Completely Stock.

I had a Detroit Diesel 8V92TA in a KW dump truck in 1980. That sucker would put out 425 hp but would never out pull a CAT.

Hmmmm.. FWIW ?

Bought my 2K new. Took the PCM out for the First Time the other day.. to get the "Catch Code" and DPC #.

Kinda got the feeling someone had taken taken the circuit board access cover Off before..

OBTW.. I wrote the Catch Code & DPC # on the PCM body, with Sharpy.. where it can be seen.. without removing it. Wrote it on the D-side door jamb too. For future reference ?

Cardone I know rebuilds them commercially, I think Borg-Warner does as well..
I got a Cardone IDM once that made the truck run worse than the one I was replacing..
