Default Fuel Filter Sockets

What Size sockets are needed?

Where did you buy yours and how much?

Did you get 6 point or 12 point?

Been to 2 different Advance Auto Parts, 1 O'rielly's, and 1 Sears. Bought a Craftsman 12 point just in case but so far no 6 point low profile. So far seems like a big special deal to find a 6 point low profile socket.

Have 2 others Napa and Carquest I'll try next or try to run down the K&D truck.

I don't think it matters if it's a 12 or 6, shallow or deep.

I got mine here:

Ford Diesel 6.0 L 6.0L SuperDuty Oil Fuel Filter Socket: eBay Motors (item 360277245135 end time Jul-30-10 18:56:52 PDT)

Works perfectly, has to be shallow to fit the fuel filter and clearance available on Rach's Excursion.

Hope it helps.

Lisle tools. I have the 14650 set that has three low pro sockets. Should be able to get them through napa or other parts stores or ebay.
