Should be able to fine a almost new take-off for around a $1000.00 bucks,
just may have to do some looking, also wrecking yards.

Look for truck fabricators that put flat beds on pick ups. They should have new take offs.

Torqshift, 4X4, and just about all of the rest of the options.
I added Guages, Satellite Radio,
Air Horns, and a coolant filter. Bilstein shocks. Battery Desulphater that really works.

I had a Detroit Diesel 8V92TA in a KW dump truck in 1980. That sucker would put out 425 hp but would never out pull a CAT.

yeah.. the body contours are completely different... kinda like back in the '60's and '70's with the older "bump sides" and the newer "dent sides" the bolt holes would line up but.....

I edited my earlier post, take a look at he pics on the link..... it is a new front on an Excursion..... but the body lines are the same....

2003 Ford Excursion Eddie Bauer, White over EB Gold, Tan Interior, 6.0 PSD, 4X4, 3.73 Open/LS, TorqShift Auto, Trailer Tow Package, 3 rows of Leather , 6 disk factory indash and Automatic Climate Control, Both power front seats have "BUN Warmers"!! , Radio, FUMOTO Valve, Bilstein 4600 Shocks, Bare Bones Stock. Currently at ~115,000 miles.

A couple of other cars with evil spark plugs, and a hobby(obsession) of IH Cub Cadet Garden Tractors (pre-81).
Diesels and Cubs are just like Lay's Potato Chips, "You can't have just one"
