So I'm trying to figure out why my power mirrors are dead. Neither side work. I've got the wiring harness off of the switch and I have found the hot wire. When I jump the hot wire to any of the other wires shouldn't one of the mirrors move? I have looked for a wiring diagram and I can't seem to find one.
Does anybody have a wiring diagram for this? Any other suggestions or tips? Thanks, Brian 2006 F250 KR |

So after thinking about this and finding the number of wires to the switch, I figured I'd have to jump two wires for each motor to work; one hot and one ground. So I just ordered a switch from ford. If it didn't work I'd be out $30. I got the new switch in and it all works. I was just reading too much into it.

I did the same thing. I got mine from a scrap yard for 5 bucks and it works. Figured I'd get e new one if and when this one goes bad. If it didn't work I would only be out 5 bucks. It seems these switches are notorious for going bad.
