Thanks for all the input guys. I do have another question to ask on top of this whole topic.

I'm starting to get curious about other fuels you can use to run your truck and I have been trying to find out what modifications (if any) need to be done to accomplish running said fuels. More specifically Bio diesel.

Thanks in advance,

Travis

I have run bio diesel in my 04 F350 6.0 nothing need to be done other keep a extra set of filter with you. The Bio will clean everything in the fuel tank like diesel slug. The filter will plug up so after the first or second tank change it then and keep a set in the truck with a wrench.

Thanks its a project I've been working on since I was 15. I'm only about $4,000 into it including the cost of the truck.

I was looking at some photos and forgot I had a Bronco II also. I was going to put a 302 in it. I had done a ranger with a 302 in it, it was fun to drive. I now have a 89 ranger and I'm thinking maybe 4.6 with a 6 speed trans.

I'm also debating on putting a 302 in mine. I want to stay classic but my dad wants to drop a 5.0 in for the fuel injection. I just love the smell of a classic V8 running rich lol

You can make a sleeper out of it. Put the 5.0 in and keep it stock it will run like a bat out of hell. I think your should have a C4 trans. Just need to check the bell housing to see if it will bolt to the 5,0. If not thats a EZ fix.

Sorry we jumped off subject, but I like the ideal of the 5.0 in it also.

Do it!! they are fun. and 5.0 fox bodys are getting to be cheaper everyday. or use the 5.0 out of a explorer it has the gt40 heads and the 4x4 trans. Or if you want to go crazy and totally redo your truck get a wrecked explorer with a good motor, swap the 8.8 so you have the speed sensor on the rear end, swap dashes, wire harness and complete motor and trans. it is a hell of alot of work but it can be done. just like my 87 stx with a 04 4.0l
