Fishing Derby??
any interest in maybe a fishing derby /picnic /BS session this summer?
I stuck a poll int the main community forum, but it looks like the southern guys are gonna siphon our fuel and drink our beer while Dpantazis and I are the only ones fishing... ATK from Ontario said he'd be hip if it was pike or bass... Pantazis is a big steelheader... I'm trying to think of somewhere we could fish for more most everything... summer steelhead, pike, trout, panfish, gamefish, carp & gar...

ooch... paylake...
I was thinking of here plenty of lodging for us within 5 minutes pike, bass, panfish, salmon if we hit it on the right time of year... carp of course...gar... heck ya might even catch a guppy or two...

bama's been pimpin that lake for a while, i think he wants/needs company....
JLD- i scoped that spot out last weekend! its nice. it holds cold weather fish too downstream.... today was not THAT cold here, i would have fished today if i did not have a gazillion things to do. dp |

Lake Allegan
impoundment of Kalamazoo River behind Allegan Dam... DNR campgrounds "on site" inexpensive lodging within 5 minutes moderate-priced family restaraunts within 5 minutes antique mall turn-of century shops historic lumber/farming town nice place to live, actually...
