Looking at a new class "C" motorhome on a F-550 diesel powered chassis. Are there still engine repair issues with the 6.7 that require "lifting the cab" for access? If so, no way I want to buy into class"c" type of RV on this chassis, as the cab cannot be lifted. Any insights or experience with these units?

Not heard about that, so just don't know. I am still pulling my 35 footer Fifth-wheel.

No problem that I know of. If there is the dealer will have to deal with it being it's new.

I would think it would be one of those set-ups where the Whole front clip is hinged, from the firewall forward.. so it can be opened/roll forward, for service ???

No-way.. would you have to dis-assemble the RV body structure.. for service or repair. BUT..... you never know.. theze dayz.

if the RV maker left a few more inches of clearance on top of the motor, it might be good to go.

The only thing that makes since, is there is no sense in the way they do things. We learned this in RV school.
