Water in fuel

I was wondering if anyone else has had the water in fuel light come on and stay on drained mine three times and tested the fuel and No water in it.

I can't speak from first hand 6.0 experience since I own a 7.3, but I can tell you this - the WIF light on mine was triggered by sediment in the fuel bowl. You might just take a look inside and see. My sediment wasn't coming out when opening the drain - I had to use Qtips down deep in the bowl.

There was a free recall to replace the HFCM due to this...
once replaced you shouldn't have another issue...

I was looking at mine this weekend whilst i was drilling my exhaust manifold to accept teh TAP.
I didnt see any drain valve handle or drain od any kind. did 06 delet the drain valve???

Never have seen a drain handle as such on either my 02, 03, 0r 05 - all 6mm allen wrench that I recall....
and EASY to strip if not REAL careful... :eek:
