I have noticed the 'no squealer tabs' on my truck. Mine did squeal when they were ready to be changed. I am not sure how Ford does that, if they do.

If you add brake fluid to the master cylinder, you will get an overfill when you compress the pistons, and brake fluid will over flow.

Yup. Getting the rear rotors off was a little bit of a booger but they eventually came loose. Definitely were no squealer tabs on these pads but i like the groove in the center now. I'll be able to tell when these are toast.
