Here's an Internet pic of the IPR valve itself and what it looks like under the turbo on mine. Hope that helps.

There is not a 3/4" nut for the solenoid that I'm aware of on the 6.0l. Is your truck a 7.3l? I believe it has the 3/4" nut you mentioned. Will take a quick look.

That explains a lot I've been looking up 6.0 but everything would talk about this bolt and I couldn't figure that out!

I'm certainly no expert but you may need to step back a minute and regroup. There are some troubleshooting tips around the Internet for no start conditions. Before you spend a lot of energy chasing things, you should do what Dave mentioned and check for any codes. You could do this yourself with an inexpensive OBDII code reader or find someone you know that has one. That will help you narrow down where to focus your energy. The 6.0l has to meet certain conditions like sufficient oil pressure, etc. to allow a start. It could even be something like low FICM voltage completely unrelated to the HPOP/ICP/IPR part of the system. With some codes the members here can help get you there quicker. Good general info links below.

Randy thank you so much that is extremely helpful in every kind of way! I have almost tried all of that. I have test the IPR which turns out it is bad. It's stuck in the open position. Not saying this is going to be my fix but I have one on order and will be here tomorrow. Fingers crossed this will get my truck back on the road. I appreciate all your help as I try to wade my way through this new challenge in our lives with my husband here to teach me! Forever greatful!

No problem, hope it gets you going again. Let us know how it works out.
