Yeah, but you came here and made a name (f350blown) and only made post basically saying they're junk because yours "blew up."

Just some points some of us might be pondering ?

#1. It didn't "BLOW UP". After 100,000+ miles, it "Failed you" ?

#2. Who Drove, and How did they Drive your (New First Gen/Job 1, 6.7) for that first 600 miles (?), before you took delivery ?

#3. "At The Beach", Hmmmm ?

Many of us might feel your Total Frustration with FOMOCO. Things are not happening as fast, or as you expect things to happen. But this Does Not make all PSD's bad/junk engines.. as you've eluded to say ?

The vast majority of us here on SDD.. are very pleased with what we have.. and share our findings and fixes...for the Better Good.. of all the members... In a Truthful, but Positive way ?

Venting/Bashing, for the most part, is not what we do here.

But as this unfolds for you... Please keep us informed of the progress and/or outcome ?

01yellerCobra, If m y responding to threads that have similar experences or ask opinions are considered " blowing up every thread" guess I'm guilty. But I like many other would expect a company that I've spent so much money with to treat me with respect even if they aren't going to respond in a positive way.
When I'm told they will allow me to purcahse a new long block and install it for over 10K and then I can trade it in to the dealer and i'll get 4k off a 76K truck. Just leaves a bad taste in my mouth as I'm sure it would yours to if it were your 70K

As I said, I'm sure I would be upset too. I haven't blown up my truck, but I've blown up other engines from pushing things a little hard. And yeah, the cost was about the same as you're spending. So I understand the money side.

There were issues in the first couple of years. A guy I know with a 2011 or 12 is on his third turbo. Granted, his is tuned with a DPF delete so it's not exactly stock, but things happen.

Something else to think about, this is an open forum. Openly bashing a company isn't going to make things any better. If you want to tell your experience, cool. But I wouldn't want to upset the company that might still help me.

I'm interested in hearing about high mileage powerstroke motors. I have a 2016 with 24,000 miles. Thanks

My first 2011 6.7 now has over 750,000 K on it. Long block at 500,000 and I have to take much of the blame for that.

Wow That's awesome! What happened at 500,000?

Just overheated the tranny
Mostly my fault.
This is the only major work done on the truck.
I towed with it for over half of the miles
