    Seriously.. If it Ain't Ding'n and everything is working.. Don't Ding with it ? Or worry about it ? I had a GMC Van.. 2 weeks from New.. the Dinger Squealed.. and never Dinged again. I was Okay with that for +100K miles ?

    I just Dribble the last few gallons in Rich. I haven't heard of anyone doing a Hutch Mod.. but I'd betcha it's probably the same set-up in these tanks. (?)

    Question What did you do to your truck today?

    Did the 60K Trans fluid R & R.. Brake system fluid R&R and Power steering fluid R & R.. All done by my local Ford dealer shop... so it's on FOMOCO's data base by my VIN#. $550.00

    I've been using the ICE brand of car care products for Years Jourdan.. the wax goes on easy, comes off easy.. NO white haze on any of the trim stuff.. can be used on ALL of the exterior parts & pieces. Good Stuff. It's a Synthetic.. can be applied/used in Sun & Shade

    I realy like {them}. I bought 2, change them out in Jan & June.. needed or not ? More surface area and they wash up good. Back blow'm @ 60 psi, soak'm overnight. Back wash.. Air Dry.. dun deal.

    Fuel economy

    I run a jug of Power Service, Diesel Kleen (Grey jug/Walmart) in my 6.7.. in every tank. Now & then I run without it.. just because. Ford recommends [their brand] but they want to much $ for it.

    DEF

    I agree. I've used just about ALL of the DEF Brands.. and have noticed absolutely NO difference.. in any of them. I carry a gallon of Peak, but top off with what ever is available at the pumps at truck stops, and my local Card Lock station. Blended the brands.. No Dif.

    Re-install the Fuel Filters.. Check for good Air Tight seals around all gaskets and O rings ? Air intrusion in to the fuel system is not a Good thing.

    Power Distribution Box... located just in front of the Master Cylinder.. mounted on the inter fender. PIA to get the top off.. but once yer in there... ALL the PCM related relays and other 12v stuff (fuses) are there.

    'bout the only thing you can do is let everything Dry Out real good. Check the PDB fuses and relays.. under the hood for moisture too ? I've used a Heat Gun... all around under the hood and under the dash.. to dry things out... FWIW ?

    Question Ignition switch core details

    I recently replaced the ignition switch on my daughters truck.. same issue about the keys Rich. Took the old, and the new switch to a local Locksmith.. he matched the New switch pins/tumblers (?) to the Old switch.. and keys. Works Perfect. Took about an hour.

    The pass thru wires just go from under the dash.. thru the firewall. Not connected to anything.

    Sounds like the FICM it's self.. has gone South ? It's kinda common with a 6.0 ? (from Posts here on SDD.. thru the years)

    Transmission temperature

    According to my Edge Monitor (no tunes) my 012 tranny runs between 160 & 180, empty. 170 & 200 towing. Goes up to 205 and holds pulling a local 3 mile 6% grade.. towing. Summer or Winter. I have a Full Open aftermarket Mesh grill however. I think that helps overall temps some ? ECT is 192/195...
