    Question f-250 tires

makes sense.....i had all of the same thoughts.....driving on the C rated tires right now doesn't sit well with me. i intend on switching all tires to either D or E. The difference between the D and E is, on average, 300 lbs+-, depending on tire. For an F250, when factoring in gvwr, it looks...

    Question f-250 tires

the f250 is 2x..........and yes i understand psi. the different load range tires all have different specs when it comes to psi.....the higher the psi rating (that is acceptable psi that won't blow up your tire) the more the weight the tire can hold; there is a direct correlation. I'm thinking...

    source for rebuilt injectors

well, i had to save up the dough to buy the injectors and pay my mechanic. this is a backup truck for me so had to be fiscally conservative and pay cash....and my mechanic was really backed up with work and had to wait in line for a month......but its worth the wait......

    source for rebuilt injectors

I have finally received and installed the 8 rebuilt injectors from beans. my mechanic was very pleased, and so far so good. the truck is running great. i didn't have to replace all of them but i figured with the rebuilt pricing vs. the new pricing coupled with the fact that my mechanic was going...

    source for rebuilt injectors

let me say upfront that I own my own business and almost always shop local, but it looks like i need to change out at least four injectors on my 99 7.3 f250, and i'm looking for a good price as we all know these puppies ain't cheap. This all stems from a severe water in fuel issue. so are...

    Question cylinder drain plug

took an 8oz sample of fuel from line b/w tank and fuel pump last night. this morning it had about 4 droplets of water about the size of bb's. at least i don't have an emulsion anymore. my acceleration is getting better, but now i'm getting a burst of white smoke right when i hit 2000 rpm...

    Question cylinder drain plug

we'll see what happens it's still running pretty rough, slowwww acceleration, and a nice puff of white smoke right before i gain speed. I added a de-water agent, and some more fresh fuel from where i normally fill up. we'll see what happens. the funny thing is that i have run both homebrewed...

    Question cylinder drain plug

thanks for your .02. I have never had a water in fuel issue this bad before. I have been thinking that there was air getting in the system somewhere or the icp sensor was bad, etc. (with the help of other members and mechanic friends). does water in the fuel mimic the symptoms of the above...

    Question cylinder drain plug

So after hitting my head against my hood for several days I have discovered that the cause of erratic idling and lack of acceleration is most likely being caused by a lot of water in the fuel. I pulled a 10oz sample of fuel and let settle over night. In that sample i had about 3 tbs of water...

Help Needed 99 7.3 rough idle / lack of initial acceleration

the f 250 cranks fine but does not idle properly unless i hit the gas pedal; if not it dies. As long as i keep foot on gas all is fine accept for initial acceleration that is pretty much a crawl. Once i get going, on freeway, no problem after that. so are there any typical things (sensors)...
