    Total loss of power.

    I was on my way to the lake last weekend and I lost all forward momentum. The turbo went to zero and I pressed it to the floor. I pulled over and shut it off for a few minutes. Restarted fine and had good power. Continued to the lake and after about 150 miles, I lost turbo and power again. Again...

    Transmission Temperature

    Can anyone tell me if on a 1999 SD 7.3 with Auto transmission, you can monitor the transmission temerature without any modifications or sensors added, just using something like the Scangauge II plugged into the computer monitor connector/diagnostic port?

    Engine rough idle problem

    This just started. When the truck is cold, it idles smooth. After 20 minutes or so of driving, the idle starts getting rough like a gas engine does when it starts missing. Doesn't seem to affect running going down the road. Maybe I got a bad load of fuel? I'm not getting a "Water in Fuel" light...

    Turbo problems when cold

    Anybody having this problem? This is my first winter with the truck. The turbo doesn't spin up when the engine is cold. Once the engine starts to warm up (maybe 5 minutes) the turbo spools up fine. Is this normal with temps in the 20s and low 30s? :burnit

    How to lube upper ball joint on 99 F250 PSD

    I'm trying to figure out how to lube the upper ball joints on my 1999 F250 SD PSD. The zerk fittings are on the bottom facing straight down and there doesn't appear to be room to put my grease gun fitting on the nipple. How do you do these?     Specs for a stock 1999 7.3 PS

    Where can I find the complete specs on the 1999 7.3 powerstroke? I see 235hp and 500 ft lbs torque and I see 275hp and 500 ft lbs of torque. I've tried a google search and just get a bunch of BS. Can someone point me in the right direction? thanks:burnit

    Straight scoop on oil for 7.3

    I just got my 1999 7.3L and the relative I bought it from told me the engine took 14 quarts of oil w/filter. When I called Ford to price an oil change, they told me it held 15 w/filter and so did Speedy Lube. What's the real scoop? Thanks
