    used FORD for $5000

    I just sold my 2002 F250 Lariat that had lots of aftermarket goodies for $5000. The truck had 500k on it but was reliable enough to drive 2500 mile round trips to Kansas City from NC twice a year and pull my 36ft 5th wheel. It also pulled my pressure washing rig daily. Good luck on your search!

    DPF back is just for looks. You might have a different sound through the 5 inch pipes but the EPA junk keeps everything clogged up and quiet.

    I used to get 19-20 mpg on the highway on long trips and 15.5 mpg around town. Now that I have new rims, wider mud tires, and a level kit I get about 16.5 mpg on long trips and 13.2 mpg around town:(. I am also seeing regens every couple days lately.     These are great recommendations guys! The batteries on mine need to be cleaned and driverside wiper are on the list. The caliper pins were a big problem on my 7.3 for sure!

    If you want more MPGs you will have to delete everything and Tune it. It will void your warranty but its better for your trucks health if you dont beat it all the time. Im going to delete asap.

    I have the 20x10 XD Riot wheels with a -24 offset and 315/60/20 Toyo MTs I could not even turn the truck without rubbing REALLY BAD.     Looks like I need a new oil pan also!:mad: Had the oil changed and then drove on 2400 mile round trip before I noticed the leak. Pisses me off! No leaks at all now I have to clean all this up.

    Nice truck! I used to haul our 36ft fifth wheel with my 2002 7.3 and it was so loud my wife and kids rode separately.:lmaoNow the 2002 seems like a dinosaur. The 6.7 pulls like there is no camper on back. BIG diference for sure! Enjoy

    Bouncy ride on freeway

    I have a short bed F 250 that never bounces on the highway. I also have a 2011 F350 4x4 FX4 package longbed that bucks like a bronco on certain parts of the highways that are slabbed concrete. 75 mph cures it.

    Program issues

    If it goes back to stock the computer will think you have the DEF and you will have problems again. If you know the previous owner you might get as much info from him about what programmer or tunes you have and what other modifications your truck has.

    Question What did you do to your truck today?

    Just make sure to either get wider wheels or stay with a tire that is meant for a 8 inch wide wheel. I did not like the sloopy feel I had with the new tires and old wheels. Now the truck feels stable again.
