    trouble

This is normal operation, the Exhaust Back Pressure Valve closes when the truck is started in cold weather. Once it warms up the EBPV opens and allows normal operation. Oops. I don't know if the 6.0 is this way. The info I just posted relates to a 7.3.

    Question Ball Joint

Anyone reading this use caution when torquing the ball joints. It is ball joint manufacturer specific and must be done in sequentially in steps upper/lower.

    Will GPR 109 work?

GPR109 is exactly the same as the OEM, with the exception that it is clocked 90* off. The wires still reach, but it is tight. As others have said though, the Stancor works great, and Mouser is the place to get it. I did the Stancor and doubt I will ever need another GPR. I went through 6...

Question What's a good year for the PowerStroke?

My 2000 has been great other than the lousy transmission. I replaced the tranny at 89K. Other than that it runs and looks like new at 111K.

Replacing front hub, will 4 studs come out?

I replaced the hub today and used new studs. I was able to easily take out the old ones though. I will save them for when I do the other side someday. Thanks again for the input.

Replacing front hub, will 4 studs come out?

I am getting ready to replace one of my front wheel bearing/hub assemblies. What are my chances of getting the 4 studs that attach the assembly out? Just curious if others have been able to get them out. Thanks
