does the computer monitor egts and defuel if it gets to hot. i tow a lot of weight with my 6.0. i pull any where from 5000 to 17000 pounds daily. someone told me that i dont need to worry about egts cause computer will defuel if they get to hot, is this true? if not  i dont want it to sound like i abuse this truck cause i dont but i havent worried about it before but now im a little worried. i know what high egts do to a diesel, i have to watch my 6.5 constintely. if the computer doesnt watch these then i need to get a guage asap. does anybody know anything about this?

Comp does not monitor EGT's IIRC.
There is no pyro probe in the stock manifold.
Get a pyro to keep an eye on, and don't worry about it:D
This loaded trailer weighs about 30,000 lbsView attachment 1640:eek:
Then you do have to watch the EGT's:D
But they really don't get above 1250 too easy.
I have a 60 hp program in, too.:sweet
