This is for general information. I have a 2003 F350 CC 7.3 and for the last couple of years sometimes when I would start it the radio and power windows would quit, I could be driving and they would quit then come back on. I had it to 3 dealers and they couldn't find the problem. I discovered that when they would quit I had the steering wheel down and that my OD lockout button wouldn't work. I unhooked the batteries and took the column covers off and found the wire from the shifter was chaffed. Repaired the wire and no more problems. Hope this helps somebody.
Thanks! My gf's 99 f250 does that too sometimes. I got in it the other day and the window wouldnt go down. Then once it started it worked fine?
