I think that i might go crazy. I just bought a 99.5 f350 cc lb XL pick up truck and if i go over 75 the stupid door chime sound startes beeping and i saw a thread about the key of the ACC. pos. and it chiming but i never saw anything about just the actual beeper (thing). On my old truck 97 GMC 3500 it just had a little box with the beeper built on and i pulled the whole thing out. Is there any way to do it on these trucks please tell me how you have to be able to some how. Im still hearing the chiming sound.

Thanks Alex

I guess that's one way to stop the problem but, I don't think Stroked383 will be interested in using your solution.
Just my .02 worth.

put it up on blocks and run it up to 78 set the cruise and find the dinger and rip it out. :roflmao

if you do use this method...make sure you get it on video. of the top ofmy head i can think of a few cool things that might happen that i would love to see on tape...also thing of a few things i would not like to see (somebody getting hurt).

No door light and the things runs like a top all the way to 95 just the
chiming.
At work today i started the quest to find the stupid little thing. And i did its on the back of the fuze panel. At first glance it lookes to have two sets of about 8 or so wires coming out of each connecter. So i took the panel loose and turned it over to see that one is just in a "dummy" spot molded into the caseing i unplgged it first to see no little "prongs" for the connectors to conect to and the other one was what was really pluged in. When i unplug that one i have no lightes in the cab of the truck but the chiming does go off. And both of the connecters are the same kind but i dont want to just go plugging different connecers togeather.

Its pretty hard to explain. And i know that your confuzed by now.

Thanks Alex
