Hello forum... I am starting a project to customize my F250 and have been feverishly looking for resources for parts interchangability. That said, I have yet to find a comprehensive guide that clearly explains what parts can be used on multiple year / cfg trucks. In my introductory thread, I stated that I would gladly contribute when and where I could here. Here's my thought... If someone on this forum has knowledge of such an interchange guide or resources, would you please share? If no such guide exists, would there be any interest from the members of this forum to help create such a guide (sort of a "Parts Wiki")? I am a freelance web developer and have the ability to compile contributed information from forum members and make the information available on my website and if permitted by the moderators of this site, maybe put a link to that guide on this forum somewhere.

Just a thought, please provide feedback.

We all can contribute to our WIKI and it will be published, with in reason. There is no interchangeability charts or other resources that I have seen. What parts are you looking add to this chart/page? Engine parts or suspension parts?? Many of our sponsors have replacement parts, but I don't think that is want you are seeking.

Well, I am personally interested in interior and exterior parts, grill, headlight assemblies, wheels, bumpers, mirrors, seats, consoles, dash, door panels, leveling kit(s), etc. But anything between (and including) the bumpers is fair game. I think anything anyone has found to be an acceptable application would help those of us trying to figure it all out and undestand our options.

From 1999 to 2007 a lot of parts interior and exterior are. I have seen where mirrors, seats, consoles, dash, door panels from 2007 have been put in trucks all the way back to 1999.

Great idea. There are alot of parts already that do interchange but there might be some parts that no one has ever tried to see if will fit on other yrs of trucks. This will be a great thing to try! :coffee

My early 99 has 06 Harley headlights , 2010 Bed , tailgate , bumper , and 2.5" hitch . It also has 08 mirrors . It had an 04 Harley grill and will soon have an 06 Harley grill as well as 05 - 07 front bumper . After that I will be in search of a complete black 08 interior , preferably Harley . E-99 - 03 7.3 trucks you can swap a everything . E-99 through 04 You can swap almost everything other than engine and tranny parts . With a little know how you can swap everything other than engine and tranny parts (I guess you could if you wanted to ) on E-99 - 07 . Basically with some know how you can put any part from an E-99 - 2011 on any truck . Most of it is basically bolt on . Just depends on your skill level . I am debating a 2008 front end swap or maybe a 2011 . I just read a thread on another forum where a guy bolted a 2011 front bumper on the front of an other wise stock 03 . Here is a link 2011 bumper on a 99-03 Pictures. - Ford Powerstroke Diesel Forum

They are awesome though . There is a place that has reproductions for 400 bucks (they were 200 but then shot up ) Cheap '08 mirrors - Ford Powerstroke Diesel Forum. Mine are oem power forld and telescope . I paid 900 for the set . Way too much but I had to have them . I had an 08 an loved the way they looked and how much better you can see with them .
