Buy 97 7.3 Turbo D no CA smog or?
Here in LA last year is 97 for required cert. From my intel, if you like the OBS the 94-97 are good years for MPG/power ratio and seem to run more or less with the same issues as newer models. One advantage might be that I can add options such as HHO without worrying about smog cert.- 4wxtaco

Ive found a 1997 F350 Turbo Diesel 7.3 here in CA which I don't think requires smog at all, thats a savings right there. However is there any real advantage to moving up to a 99+ 7.3 power stroke ? I think thats the year PS came in? Trans issues? Earlier model = No smog hassles, lower...- 4wxtaco
