    I asked them about the electric lift pump several times and they said it is unlikely the problem. I thought it was the fuel pump after seeing some of the replies here and it seems to make sense. Seems fixed for now

    Ok I think It MAY be fixed. The Garage changed the Oil pressure regulator that is for the high pressure oil pump on top of the engine. we have driven the truck about 200 miles so far, only time will tell if it is fixed

    Yet another update. did it again today, now it wont run at all, had it towed to the garage, it started at the shop but was running real rough. When I left they had there hand held computer pluged in to it and they were looking real confused.

    yes Powerboatr It did get louder when the event happened, I didn't know there was a resviour. Its going in for regular maintenance next week. I will have all filters changed, (Fuel was changed but do it again) Lube and oil, and check that resivior.

    I don't know the exact code they had, they said low oil pressure that feeds the injectors, they were suspecting either the oil pump on top of the engine or the sensor. since the pump is over $1000 they changed the sensor.They have not charged me for it. they are waiting to see what happens.     P PS when we had the low oil pressure code we changed the oil thinking a previous shop may have put in 5W30 but that was proven wrong. we run 15W40 in it

    PS the truck made 3 trips from CT to vermont about 105 miles one way at around 75-80mph with no problems 2 weeks ago.
