    thanks bamasixgun, its an 03 reg cab ;tu If i were to replace the current frame with another one longer, would i just need a longer drive shaft as far as the drivetrain is concerned?

    Yep, took the pic this morning. It was at idle getting close to operating temp. Yesterday when i had taken it out for a few miles around the block the smoke was just as bad.

    I'm trying to get someone to take a quick look at it, but he mainly deals with cummings so i doubt he'll be able to run these tests. I see that AutoEnginuity will run these tests. I wonder if my autotap will... 140k I did not know this, could the wrong oil also cause it to be burned in...
