    Black coolant

Check your warranty. Most, if not all (especially the head gaskets) will be covered by the 6.0 100,000 warranty. ab

6.0 changing fuel filters - any special instructions?

You might want to drain the HFCM. However The only time I got more than a few drops of water was the first time @ 6K miles, not sure where the original owner was filling up or how long it sat on the lot but the pint (or so) that comes out was less than 1/4 water. Not sure about other...

Question Bullly Dog Power Pup Try Out?

I wouldn't touch it till you get a PRE Turbo EGT guage. Then watch for 1200 degrees. 12hundred for a couple (?) of minutes is maybe ok, any higher or longer and it's off to the shop. ab

    Suggestions for programmers

It's a 05 bought early 06 with 8k miles on it. I wish I had known about the early tuned 6.0 problems before I bought it. I wouldn't have been so disappointed when I found out it was not a good idea to tune the 6.0. I check the status of the tuners every few months and noticed they seemed to...

    Suggestions for programmers

I haven't been keeping up with the tuner/head gasket situation. The last time I checked (6 months ago) they still seemed to be responsible for a lot of ARP sales. I see that they now have tunes for NON studded 6.0's. Anybody have an educated guess if my healthy ZERO problem 50K mile, 4"...

    Napa fuel filter problem?

36 MM, it also fits the oil filter, wifes BMW oil filter, etc. Seems to be becomming the standard for cartrage type filters. I wonder why Ford didn't use 36MM for the small fuel filter? Then all the filters would use the same tool :dunno. ab

    Gauge Question

Yea I probably should have gone with the 3 gauge pod. My justification for not was. I don't check the factory boost gauge and it's supposed to be one of the/if not the most honest gauges on the truck :dunno. And from research I found that people with my physical problem (HEAVY right foot...

    Gauge Question

I like these; I don't have a tuner so I don't have a boost gauge. They come in 2, 3 and I think 4 gauge pods, ALREADY painted. I did have to move my mirror down.

    Napa fuel filter problem?

How much do the NAPA filters cost? Run over to your local International Truck dealer and pick up part #1847170C92 (this is the OEM filter) should be about $40.00, may be a little more than NAPA pos but less than Ford will charge you. ab
