Hey Joe,
I gotta give credit to dchamberline over at FTE for the solution. I'll post it here for you.
This is what the book shows for seats with the seat belt in the seat back. I assume it'd be the same if you have a different type seat though.

So, I bought a set of seat covers yesterday and I'm trying to install them this morning. Surprise, surprise!! The head rests won't come out. I tried pushing the little button and pulling up hard, No good. I look for a little clip or some other retaining device. Nothing.
I did a Google search...
Nope. I was wrong. It's to the right of the steering column. I'll have to mess with it some other time.
Will anything be harmed if I wait to replace this later, like in a little over a month? We're heading out to go camping in a few days and I'm not sure if I'll have time to work on it before...
If you buy the Mile Markers, make sure you install them exactly as the instructions say to.

EDIT: Sorry dave, I read that wrong. Thought you said I could rent YOUR tranny jack. Still half asleep when I wrote that.:sorry

So... this is the first I've heard about a "dual mass" flywheel. What is it and why is it a bad thing?
EDIT: I read on another site that Ford only used the dual mass type on 99 and older trucks with the 5 spd. Newer trucks with the 6 spd came with a standard type flywheel (what ever that...
Looks like I'll be replacing my clutch. Anyone have any experience with New Generation clutches? Amazon has one for $334 but I've never heard of them before.:dunno
