No start
Mine had similar symptoms, started like new when cold but if it warmed up I could not start it. Not an intermittent problem, happened every time. I had to let it sit for 45 minutes or so if I shut it down when warmed up. My issue was the injection pressure regulator O rings. Is yours...- Believer45

fuel filter drain location? pics
CLICK HERE to see where mine is. The picture is taken from the front, the tire you see is the passenger side front tire. I used 5/16" fuel line wire tied to one of the brake lines. IPR valve Rebuild
No start when warm, started fine when cooled down. They failed on me en route from Cincinnati, OH to Charlotte, NC a few years ago. The first symptom was longer crank times for two times starting it, third time it would not start until I let it sit for 45 minutes to an hour if it was warmed...- Believer45

IPR valve Rebuild
I did mine without removing the valve body from the high pressure reservoir on my 1995 F250 extended cab.
