    bad news I got my rattle fixed today. It was the torque converter. 813 dollars later it sounds great. The guy said they are bad about doing that and alot of people dont catch it until the transmission is toast. Just thought iI would let you know. :sweet

    Mine is noisy too mine is loud too. i went by and let my buddy listen to it and he thinks it is the converter. mine is loud at idle and once the converter locks up it goes away but it comes back if you let it coast to a stop when itshifts back to second gear it starts again. Any Ideas?

    A shorted fuel heater did the same thing on one in my shop. I bet that is it.

    V10 popped a spark plug

    Carquest makes a super nice repair kit for that problem. I can get you a part number for it if you would like. Its expensive. The kit cost me 500.00 but it will repair about 20 damaged holes. I own 5 5.4 engines so it has come in handy. I fixed 4 holes in 1 engine. And no I wouldnt drive it that...
