On the 05+ trucks it's above the drivers side exhaust manifold next to the block. It sits on top of a tube and has an electrical connector at the top.
Be sure to clean out the tube and clean the end of the sensor. If you still have an issue, replace the sensor.

There was a stop order on EGR valves just last week because of supplier issues. THIS is why people (like myself also) ate threw valves like crazy.
Look around at some other forums for the official letter. I'm too lazy to look it up.
I also am getting the blue to white smoke issue when first started in the morning. I just had the turbo replaced but it didn't stop the smoke.
I'm going to continue to drive it until something happens..
