    The Company whose doing mine said they have done about 30 also, $1,800 Total. He was pretty much straight up with me, Said engine has to come out, Body up front nose. And he guarantees this Pan won't rust out. 3 day job he said, Mostly because they have others in front of me.

    Sure is lol NJ and NYC have the highest repair costs I think. Even my Mopar buddy who works on Diesels said he couldn't do it for less then 1200, And theres no return policy with friends as we all know :roflmao

    Thanks! This was my first Diesel purchase a few years ago, ( Had the dreaded SUV's for the miss's) Was my turn, Guess what lol I'll never go gas again, Best purchase I've ever made as a Vehicle the 7.3 only gave me one problem during winter starts oh and this Pan thing )

    Had it on the lift 2 months ago, Put some JB on it stopped leaking till this week :D

    Is replacing the oil pan in a 7.3 F250 ok for the back yard Mechanic ? Been tossing around a old Mopars for 40 years, But after looking online this seems like a real big job. The lowest quote around here to have someone put a new pan on was 2,100 Dollars, Almost fell on the floor. Any help...
