i dont know much about older psd's. my friends lokin at buying a 97 psd. it has 127,000 miles, automatic, very clean, small lift, newer tires and few custom interior things. he askin $13,000, good deal? i dont know much about them so i figured you guys could help me out, please! are there...- dieselboy28

does the computer monitor egts and defuel if it gets to hot. i tow a lot of weight with my 6.0. i pull any where from 5000 to 17000 pounds daily. someone told me that i dont need to worry about egts cause computer will defuel if they get to hot, is this true? if not :eek: i dont want it to sound...- dieselboy28

intake kit or replacement element
carqueat offers a setup thats pretty cheap. it replaces the old housing with a housing thats similar to the 7.3s. easy to get to and runs a little better. i think you can drop a k&n in it for a 7.3. i put one on my work truck and it sounds more throaty and better spool up:burnit . jmo- dieselboy28
