I am running 5-30.Amsoil tech said this is what to use in 03-07 powerstrokes.5-40 in 08 6.4powerstrokes bcause of emission stuff.- dirtdigger

Thanks for the replies I also got a egt probe for my livewire did not put it in yet.Afraid if gasket went dealer would see were I put it in maifold.Also running amsoil 5-30 synthetic with prolong additive.I will probably put it in anyway just hate to lose warranty.- dirtdigger

Nice forum.Good to see not everyone talking bad about 6.0!I bought my 2005 f350 6.0 with 18,500 miles put banks moster exhaust on it super chips tuner replaced it with sct livewire what adiference.now have 22,000 miles no problems i dont beat my truck Ido get on it ounce in a while I tow 12,000#...- dirtdigger
