Plug-in block heater

I know the 6.0 had the internals for the block heater. It was in a freeze plug towards the rear of the engine on the pass side I believe. All you paid for was the plug and wiring. Not sure if the 6.4 is the same. Should be straight forward to install either way. I ordered mine with the...

Question 08, 6.4 does not heat up at idle

Ford does have an option I believe for a fast idle on these trucks. Raises idle for elec power or PTO. Would work for keeping temp up also. David

FYI 2008 Super Duty Recall Notice

My F450 was built in March 2007. Last October my radiator started leaking. I happened to be at a show with a Ford rep there. He said some of the tanks weren't fully attached to the cores. I took it to Sunrise Ford and they had it back to me in a few days with a new radiator. David
