Dont forgot for those of us in the Snow areas that this can and has plugged air filters with snow. Think about where and when you will be driving and what your best option(s) are.
Who is thinking about snow in June when it's 97 degrees outside?
NP, but I was looking for a complete metal knob, but that was 4 months ago. I have found one, but it has a plastic poly clip on the back, but they made it thicker for me, so hoping it will last.
I don't do the online ordering unless I have too. Nobody seems to know where the Rev-X can be purchased other than on line, so probably won't be buying either again.
Getting ready to move this weekend and found my autometer 4321 Ultra Lite mechanical oil pressure gauge 100psi still in the box and still sealed if anyone is interested.
In IL the truck has to get inspected yearly, they catch the mechanical gauges pretty quick, so I found out. Will be putting mine up for sale. Ultra Lite Autometers still in the box.
I would go electrical too if cash flow wasnt a concern. I know injectors are expensive and all, but you have to $ in your wallet to buy things and at this point that is very limited. $250 for one gauge is crazy. Its only that high because people pay it IMO.
There are mechanical gauges sitting in a cabinet where they have been for several years now still in the autometer box, so just seeing what the current options are.
I have heard the isolators tend to fail with diesel fuel, but have not seen any actual data only word of mouth.
All for...
Not a fan of putting 70psi in the cab of my truck, but is there an isolater that can be purchased so that the gauge reads correctly, but the oil doesnt need to reach it?
There isn't a setup that I know of, but its been several years since I have looked at this option.
They should list the actual junk yard it is coming from with a part number and the condition of the part. You then call the junk yard and they will tell you what they have. If you want pictures some will take them and others won't. Never had an issue with using that site, but remember it is...
That is a great base. Use to fill up gallon jugs with Tranny fluid and toss them on the runway so when the plows came through they swore they hit something. That has been almost 20 years ago now.
Had the fuel pump turn on and it wouldn't shut off up there. Couple kicks to the tank and...

How many on here have replaced just the half shell if you have the 4 bolts?
I ended up doing that yesterday and the truck is so much nicer to drive. Quiet, Smooth, Non aggrivating and just much easier to...
I use HotShotsSecret and it improved my truck. Not a fan at all of SnakeOil, but have to admit this helped.
As suggested above. Checking the FICM would be your best bet. Black smoke, w/no power, miss and hard start after it sat out all night the FICM test would be the first thing I would do.
