Help please
thanks to all. The tube tail gunner was talking about actually had a hole in it. I brazed it for a quick fix. Im going to make another one out of 5/16" brake line because a new one is fifty bucks. I still have an issue though. I am going to clean the sensor. thanks, again- fasteddie

I have a 2000 7.3L with 335,000 miles on it. My intake heater is not working. I changed the solenoid, but this was not the problem. I PCM is not telling the solenoid to turn on the heat grid. Im think there are 4 sensors. I will check today. the sensor on top, between the cat and the dpf is the pressure sensor. that is the sensor that kept melting when my truck was stock. kem told me I need all the sensors hooked up or the truck will go in to limp mode. weld or braze a piece of tube...- fasteddie

5" exhaust back At the end of the stock down pipe, there is a flange. I made my own flange to bolt to the down pipe flange and made my own 5" pipe to hook up to the mbrp 5" system.- fasteddie

I installed an S&B air intake a while back. I just got done installing a superchips flashpaq with KEM Performance tuning in it. NO MORE REGEN! What is your Fuel Economy?
I just purchased and installed a superchips flashpaq with tuning in it by KEM Performance. NO MORE REGEN! I got rid of the particulate filter, now there is a 5" MBRP cat back exhaust. Also, i installed an S&B intake. I havent really driven it unloaded, but i will post more info and pics later.- fasteddie

I just ordered an intake from S&B. Should be here by Friday. Instead of messing with the flange on the particulate filter, I think I am just going to scrap the whole thing. MBRP is done with a straight pipe, but they are waiting on PPE or EFI live to come up with a chip that deletes...- fasteddie

Let me know what you did, I'll be experimenting with my truck too. One thing I noticed was that on the vacuum guage on the air filter housing, it was more than half way down, with a brand new air filter. It is starving for air. What is your Fuel Economy?
I just turned 3500 miles. I filled up my tank and reset the fuel economy. While on the highway, I saw up to 19.6 on a 40 mile run. Now I have around 230 miles on this tank of fuel, and it keeps bouncing back and fourth between 15.8 and 16.3. That is mostly rush hour driving. I'll get back...- fasteddie
