    AGR steering system woes

Just a little information for anyone planning to run the complete AGR steering system with rock ram on their trucks. I installed their super pump, the steering box, and the rock ram on my truck and it worked amazing. It drove better than it ever had and the steering was tight and responsive. But...

Help Needed Rev up then dies, rough idle after warm up

Im working on a friends 99.5 F350> When the truck is first cranked after being cool it runs great. But after it warms up it will idle up then the rpms will drop until it almost dies. It will do this the entire time it is running as it is left sitting. Also if I push the throttle and rev the...

    coilover suspension time

4 inches? really? that seems to be overkill. plus the options for spring ratea get to be pretty limited when going with a body that large. i was leaning more towards a 3 inch body with a remote resorvoir. im contacting king coilovers today to get a better idea of what spring rates i need. ill...

Will stock 17" wheels from an '06 fit an '02?

I tried a set of factory 20's from an '07 on my 2000 and the bolt pattern was off by just a shade. Could probably used a pencil grinder to open them up a bit but im not a big fan of messing with something like that. One of the few time where "if it dont fit, force it" doesnt apply. ;)

    Rancho Shocks/Steering Stabilizer

I recommend the rebuildable bilsteins. The intial price is a little expensive but an authorized dealer can rebuild them for roughly $30 a piece. Pretty good investment IMO.

    steering stabilizer

Bilstein makes stainles steel bilstein steering stabilizers but they are only offered through superlift. You can run their single or dual kit to use their SS stablizers. But thats the only way I know of to purchase them unless you get a 4wd shop to just order a replacement for a kit. Im running...

    steering stabilizer

I dont think the shaking would be cause from the steering stabilizer. Its main purpose is to dampen the steering and to prevent bmup steer, it keeps your wheels from jumping when you hit a bump. Can you feeling the shaking in your steering wheel or is it just a humming in your front end? Could...

    Ported Compressor Housing

I was looking on dieselsite and saw they sell what is called a "Custom Ported 7.3L Garrett Ballbearing Turbo Housing" It says they machine the housing to allow compressor surge relief. I was just wondering if there was a way this could be done at home. I have all the equipment to do the...

    steering stabilizer

Im running the dual kit from superlift. I ran one of their first ones a few years ago to prototype it (live near their main building) and was very happy. I think I paid around 280 for this new one. Only complaint is that IMO it seems to hang just a bit lower than the factory unit.
