    7.3 oil leak in valley

Prodiesel, please don't think I insulted your intelligence as budro implied. I posted that because these oil leaks can be hard to track down and process of elimination sometimes has to be used. I have had mine leak pretty bad and work it's way up to the front of the valley. I didn't mean to...

    7.3 oil leak in valley

Here's an exploded view of the turbo and pedestal. The O-rings or 14 and 15 on the pic, althogh in the description they're 12-13 for some reason. http://www.superdutydiesel.com/forums/vbpicgallery.php?do=big&p=1393

    +400 RWHP on a 7.3L?

My goals are a well-tuned, driveable and smooth 350-375hp, not just slobberin enough fuel through it to eliminate the...

    maximum boost????

There's no real reason to run the stock turbo much past 25-27psi anyway, it's way out of it's efficiency range above this boost.

    4" Down Pipe HELP

This is a perfect illustration of what the 4" DP does. It doesn't give it less tq, or the 3.5" DP doesn't give it more tq, but the 4" simply shifts the torque curve upward in the RPM range, meaning that a 4" system won't feel as torquey off the line, but will in reality, be faster, not to...

any other ATF synthetic that is Diesel approved?

MERCON V isn't required to have synthetic in it. For a good Synth ATF you may want to try AMSOIL Torque Drive. It does not carry the MERCON V rating, and is some very good fluid. MERCON V can agitate the glue that the clutches are assembled with and cause them to come apart, obviously if...
