    glow plug question.

glow plugs My fathers truck has 329K miles on the origional GP's Most the time it's the GPR that goes once a year only use the nitrogen filled motorcraft relay. Changing the glowplugs is a lot of work don't touch them if it's starting OK. always use Buru Motorcraft plugs if you do it

Anyone ever hear of this GPR problem?

relay First make sure you have the right relay. That rely takes alot of abuse the Ford or better yet the international ones are the same at a cheaper price. both small termanals need to be hooked up for it to work. It does not acheave it's ground from it's mounting base

    Starter

Starters On both my IDI and Di trucks I have gone back to rebuilt stock starters. I am not saying that the DB one is bad but I have burned out or had problems with all the so called improved new starters sold on the net made in countrys that are known for growing coffee.

    Block heater plug?

Block heater I have never seen a truck without the block heater already in it. Make sure you are in the right place. The heater goes in the coolent not the oil. Do waste $ on a ford heater the heater is made by Zero start go to a good parts store.
