    Got my truck back today. One of my injector was dumping fuel. Had the injectors rebuild and all new o-rings put in. No more white smoke.

    My 97 is doing the same thing. Pulled my fuel filter and it is black with oil on it so I know my o rings are bad. I am thinking that my injectors are the problem for the white smoke. I will let you know in about a week when I get it back from the shop.

    Mine did the same thing, engine light came on & then started running rough. It was the UVC harness.

    I think I have found the problem. Before I left work I started moving wires around buy the under hood fuse block and the altenator and when I started my truck it was charging again. Now I have to track down the loose wire. Tahnks agian for the help!!
