I didn't get any codes at all, just couldn't get pedal after installing the new brake caliper and bleeding over a quart of new fluid through the system

    Brake bleeding

Just curious but why would pulling a fuse change how brakes are bled? Unless running and drawing voltage it seems they would bleed the same as on all my older cars while shut down

    Brake bleeding

I found the 2brake breakers gonna try that because the brakes suck right now. One was abs the other was a power break motor I think

    Brake bleeding

Well I just finished installing new pads, rotors and one caliper on the rear of my F250, bled over a quart of fluid through the rear now I have brakes but they feel spongy and soft more so than before, never had problems bleeding my classic cars before but this seems like I'm missing something...

    FICM problems

I wonder why the large price difference, it's a couple hundred bucks. I had read your thread and visited that website, may call them tomorrow to see why they are so much cheaper

    FICM problems

After reading another thread on this now I'm not sure which place to send it to, anyone sent theirs out with some feedback? Seen the one in Texas and another that charge a lot less

    FICM problems

I priced ford also, $575 for a half shell. These people are about 4 hours away or so and he said they can send a unit out to you to put in and then you can mail in your core later,

    FICM problems

Thanks, I just called them and discussed my options, looks like a rebuild with a two year warranty for $325, or upgrade to lifetime and better parts for $425, I got 9 years from this one and he says they use better parts so I may go with the cheaper one

    FICM problems

FICM is putting out the 48 volts with key on but only 35 while running, was a hard start all winter and still is, I hear that there is a rebuild shop for these or am I wrong for thinking its bad? Thanks for any advice

Question 2006 6L Hot Start issue

My 05 had that problem, I'd have to find the repair ticket but had something to do with the Orings as stated above, leaked off oil pressure after shutting it off and wouldn't restart, after sitting for a period of time it usually started, just got worst until it died all together. Just my luck...
