I agree- way too much to go wrong and most is so complicated that the average guy can't even do much work on them.
My John Deere tractors aren't too bad yet; though between the 2002 and 2005 identical models that I have they made changes for EPA crap like adding a radiator to cool the diesel...
My 05 6.0 has developed a leak between the hydroboost and the - it appears to be where they bolt together. Any tips on a repair? Does it have gaskets, o-rings, etc?
Where i can obtain a good service manual either online or otherwise. I looked at a Haynes and it doesn't cover this at all...
